I am not a Shopacholic!

I was watching MTV yesterday. They talked about celebrities’ bad habits. It turned out that one of the most common celebs’ bad habits is shopaholism.
They say that many celebs spend millions of dollars while shopping. Many often buy clothes and shoes that they never put on. For instance, Keira Nightly and Lindsey Lohan.
I have always thought that I am shopacholic as I can spend hours shopping. But now I see I am quite normal. Yes, I admit, sometimes I waste money in shops, sometimes I buy too much things (as it was in November, when I spoiled my credit, a bit only!) but I always know why and for what occasion I purchase clothes, shoes, and purses.
You can say that I seem to be normal only because I can’t afford spending million dollars on shopping. Maybe, if I was a superstar I make useless purchases like they do. Who knows?
But I am glad that at least at the moment I can say about myself: I am NOT a shopacholic!

Am I a shopaholic?

You know, I was looking for a fancy dress during the last two weeks. I spent a lot of time in stores and bought lots of things except the one, a fancy dress.  But look, while I was buying one more T-shirt, it struck my mind, maybe I am a shopaholic?! I looked through my purchases and realized the truth, I cannot control my spendings. Every time I go shopping, I am going to buy some certain things. But when I get into a store I stop control myself and buy everything that attracts my attention.
I told my friends about my problem, and guess what, it turned out that most of my friends have the same problem. So, I think, has shopaholism turned into a common thing in our society? And is anybody there who can resist the temptation to buy as many things as their credit cards can let them? Maybe, all modern youngsters are fashion victims who  are striving to buy as much as possible? And who is to blame for? I can't answer these questions... At least, now.
